In this video, I will show you how to download a GIF from google or website on your computer. Go to google search. For this example, I will use “funny cat gif” as an example. Once searched, you will want to go to the image tab. This will bring up all relevant gifs from various websites. Now select one that you like. Right click on the gif and choose “Save Image as”. Normally, the file will already be in GIF format, and adding “dot GIF” at the end of the image is unnecessary if that is the case. Save it and go to your downloads folder to double check if it is indeed GIF format. However, this doesn’t always work. So the other solution is to use the GIPHY website. Type on the google search bar “ GIPHY dot com”. Now, you can access a nice selection of gifs. For this example, I use “cool cat”. Pick one of the gifs. Now, go to a new chrome tab and search for this site called GIPH To GIF. It will let you download all GIPHY gifs easily. Now go back to GIPHY and copy the address link. Paste it into the GIPH to GIF site. Now choose “download” and enjoy your cool new gif.
